It was such a treat being beautified by Jo before my wedding in April. She came to my house for a trial run beforehand, and was incredibly kind and patient as we talked through the different options and ideas for my hair and make-up. I wanted something relaxed and relatively understated and she totally got that.

When it came to my actual wedding day, Jo trekked all the way to the middle of the countryside and transformed me from looking like I'd gone through a hedge backwards to a glowing and sleek bride, ready to walk down the aisle confidently. Throughout the day, she relaxed me with reassuring stories, some good gossip and a lot of laughter.

She is an absolute gem and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had her work her magic on me for my wedding.

Hi Jo,

I want to say a huge thank you for all your help. Not only for making Kate, Louisa and I look beautiful, but for keeping us calm on the day.

We got so many compliments - I have never felt so glamorous.

If I had had all my wits about me, I would have asked you to come to the church with us, to see the service.

As it turned out, you would have had plenty of time - as we started 35 minutes late!

The taxis with Kate, Louisa, Kate's children and photographer got lost on the way to the church - leaving me standing outside and Ross sweating inside.

Otherwise, everything went seamlessly - and you were a large part of that.

I will, of course, send you a nice photo when we get them back, and will recommend you without hesitation to others.

It was lovely to meet you and a huge thank you once more.
